A quickie on this season's transfer window

 The 2016/2017 summer window just shut last night and for some it was an interesting,swift journey,for some it was a nail biting,nerve racking demure experience that only reached climax late into the window.Here are some of my takes on this year's window.

The window is broken and cannot be fixed
A trend that Real Madrid pioneered  coupled with then "blood" money that football racks in year in year out,the price of players have been super duper inflated.We no longer know the true value of a player.Almost any price can be paid for a player.Players are overpriced beyond measure and this is not stopping anytime soon.The 100 million  barrier have been crossed and i prophecy that in the next 5 years at most,we would for sure reach 200 million.

Money can buy you a bark and bite
Post Alex Ferguson for Manchester United has been more of a time to forget for the club as they have suffered a nosedive in their quality and their all round rep. as a club albeit only football wise.They still make loads and loads of cash.
Ed woodward finally pushed the right buttons this time.Get a super Coach in the shape of Jose Mourinho,and any and every toy on the shelve is yours.You do not need champions league football to attract the most expensive.Just four signings after and Manchester United have become a force to reckon with and to be scared of.

How the Mighty may have fallen
Transfer deadline day and the English no 1 goes on loan to a certain Torino in Italy and Jack Wilshere  goes on loan to Bournemouth.Hypothetically speaking,they didn't fall anyway,because playing time is what counts right?

Wenger Crosses the 100 million mark and nobody noticed
Transfer fees like Pogba and Higuain's  has successfully cobwebbed our eyes and we can no longer see any transfer that is not a cocktail of media hype,multiple analysis and a stashful of cash.Wenger signed 6 players reached 100 million and we didn't notice.Case Study,Lucas Perez's stats can stand toe to toe with Alexandre's Lacazette's stats and you wonder why Wenger snubbed Lacazzette?

The coach is the reason why i will come.
David Luiz back in Stamford bridge for 30 Million and he did so presumably because he preferred the Conte Italian ballet  to Unai Emery's Spanish Salsa.Ibrahimovic,Mikitaryahn and Pogba went to a club in the Europa League majorly because of the Special One.Guardiola attracted Nolito,Claudio Bravo out of the embrace of Barcelona because,'who doesn't want to the beats of Pep Guardiola?'.

Team Depth is Priority for some or has money finished?
Real Madrid who are major heavy weights in any summer transfer window were suprisingly quiet this time.Maybe they want to have a balanced team with proper team depth or they no longer have extra cash in their coffers to splurge*insert smile*.FC Barcelona had almost the same story.Like 6 players in and they are just to get a proper bench that would stand the test of time.Good one from both of them i should say.
