POGBA GETS HIS DAB BACK AND FOUR OTHER THINGS

No thanks to a virus that corrupted my laptop of recent,i had to wait two days to post last weekends football roundup,my sincere apologies. But hey, football's hardly stale so enjoy...

SON CAN PLAY FOOTBALL
The Asian born Tottenham attacker,Heung Son Min proved his mettle for Mauricio Pochettino’s men in the absence of their star striker Harry Kane. This man has officially entered my radar. My eyes are on him now,for the right reasons of course!*insert smile*

THE MOJO THAT WAS NEVER MISSING
There is something very strange and worrying about how calm Mourinho has been since he was put at the helm of affairs in Manchester United. He is still his sarcastic and his vintage ‘I don’t care about you self’ but he is less animated and is less of a trouble maker these days even in the face of adversity.I digress though.
A quick fire quadruple and Manchester United were already home and dry against the league champions in the first half.Key descisions had to be made especially in the midfield,as he was spoilt for choices in some way.He was bold and dropped Wayne Rooney to leave Paul Pogba leashless behind the striker to cause as much havoc as he can.He also dropped Maruoane Fellaini in favour of Ander Herrera and brought back Chris Smalling to pair with Eric Bailey at the heart of the defencee. These descisions worked the treat and the match was done in 45 minutes.Paul Pogba did very well behind the strikr while being omnipresent in the midfield pulling the strings.Ander Herrera played incredibly well picking passes, kickstarting attacks and disrupting counter attacks. He did a job so big with a stature so small(pun intended).
Talks of how Man United are clueless,Paul Pogba being an utter waste of money and Mourinho losing his touch as a coaching maestro filed the air over the last few weeks.Football does that week in week out and it is understandable considering that there are  and in the words of Jose Mourinho ‘Einsteins every where’

SO MUCH IN HIS ARSENAL
For the first time since 2011,Arsenal defeated Chelsea FC.Jon Champion captured their performance succinctly when he said ‘Arsenal are doing exactly what Chelsea do to them’.
With a defence clueless, slow and unnecessarily lazy,a midfield that need to be schooled on how a match is controlled and how chances are created,a striker who is more a warrior than a striker and a coach who is obviously not aware of how much work is in his hands.
Arsenal ran the Arsenal defence ragged like hot knife through butter and at some point,I felt pity for the Chelsea team,Ngolo Kante especially, because it was as though they did not prepare for the match.
Chelsea is a great team, just on paper,on the pitch they  have been shambolic to say the very least.
And I must say that Arsenal look very much like a well oiled machine.Their defence was rock solid with Mustafi and Kolcieny not letting anything seep through,Bellerin being as amazing as ever and Alex Iwobi growing with every passing match and Sanchez and Ozil reminding every one why they are world class, this Arsenal team is definitely a team to be watched and like I would always say until I am proven wrong,I hope they can be consistent with their performances all season long.

KLOPPIFIED
This team that was going south after their almost title triumph in 2014,have worn a new look since the every animated German, who has his way with turning under dogs to Davids that can stand toe to toe with any Goliath, came through. They have had a very tough fixture list since Match day one but have emerged in flying colours and  are blowing teams away in the process. This team is poised for big things this season and I say that with all sense of assuredness.

DIVA DE LA MADRID
Real Madrid dropped points for the second time in four days against  newly promoted La Palmas.Asensio and Karim Benzema scored goals that salvaged the point and their lead at the top of the log has been cut to just one.Like I have observed for a little over two seasons,Ronaldo’s influence on the field of play for the team has waned significantly and his constant injury problems are not helping issues. He is more of a figure head than a peripheral cog in their team play and I say that  with utmost respect to Ronaldo, his work ethic and his mind bogging goal statistics for the team.He was benched by Zenedine Zidane and the excuse was because of their midweek Champions League encounter. That may be true but we all know that Zidane is wise enough to start to put the teams needs above the team’s poster boy because for what its worth, the team is all that matters.
